CREOLE JAZZ

Here is old Acker Bilk with the Hungarian Benko Dixieland Jazz Band. This number, Creole Jazz, is one of my favourite jazz selections. I saw Acker with his Paramount Jazz Band, in Invercargill, in 1966, and the curtain rose to this number. Here, Acker plays a metal clarinet, very popular in Eastern Europe.

In February I went north to visit my bro Chester, and his family in Hamilton. I drove up in Sarah's car. We had a really nice time and it was especially pleasing to meet for the first time, my grandniece Olivia and Grandnephew Phoenix, exceptionally nice kids.
